Search engines aren’t controlled
That is nothing new and we know that in any career there are many aspects that you hardly control or even don’t control on the whole. You have to remember that in SEO ‘control’ is a rule number one. The worst thing for SEO experts and ordinary users who optimize their sites for search engines is the very search engines that frequently change their algorithms and what is even worse – these changes are not made public, so even the greatest SEO professionals admit that they make a lot of sophisticated ’surveys’ about how search engines work. Wlile you’re doing everything properly and are about reaching a good result you discover that search engine has changed the alorithm and your simply fails and sinks on the 100 positions down. It really hurts. But the worst part is that you need to report this unexpactable changes to clients, who are not satisfied with their sinking ratings.
Everything is ambiguous
You have to understand the fact that search engine is machine and it can’t be brought to court if you feel offended with it. Probably this will change over time but currently the rule is that there are no rules – or at least not written ones. You have to obey to machine not vise versa. You can work overtime, sweating and exerting force. It turns out that everything that looks like a rule and still success is not coming. I have been registed on Digital Point and I’ve read a lot about webmasters, SEO experts and ordinary people who aren’t satisfied with search engine perfomance. The last thing you should remember is that search engines are not obliged to rank high sites that have made efforts to get optimized.
PR changes dramatically
Imagine that you have managed to get to the top for a particular keyword, adhering the position requires constant efforts. So everything seems to be good and reliable until an angry customer starts shouting at you cause this week their ratings are sinking and of course this is all your fault.
Be patient while doing SEO
One day I managed to promote my site and get it to the top in SERP’s. Would you believe I did it during one day??? It was a great thing, I was so amazed and shocked! I could hardly believe that but then… I woke up and realized that it was just my sick dream. Both the SEO expert and customers need to understand that SEO takes constant effort and time. It could take months to move ahead in the ratings, or to build tens of links. Eventually, if you cease optimizing for some time, most likely you will experience a considerable drop in ratings. You need lots of motivation and patience not to give up when things are not going your way.
Black hat approach
Black hat SEO is probably one of the biggest concerns for the would-be SEO practitioner. Fraud and unfair competition are present in any business area and those who are good and ethical suffer from this. But black hat SEO is still pretty widespread. To be true search engines penalize black hat practices but still black hat SEO is a major concern for this industry.
To sum it up it’s up to you to decide what to choose! Good luck…Summer is coming…are you ready?
